Apple in talks with Microsoft to make Bing default search engine on the iPhone

隨著 Google 本家的 Android phone (Nexus One) 上市, 加上之前 Motorola Droid 大受好評, Android 陣營氣勢如虹, 雖然目前 Android phone 的市場佔有率還是很低, 但是目前智慧手機市場上最出風頭的 iPhone 似乎也感受到了壓力, 所以也已經開始研討對策, 甚至已經和 Microsoft 開始討論把預設的搜尋從 Google 換到 Bing 的事宜.

Apple 會採取這樣的作法並不意外, Apple 一向都是採取封閉而嚴格的策略, 甚至可以痛批自己之前宣稱的"睿智決定"(就像當初從 680x0 轉到 PowerPC 時狂批 Intel x86), 就這點來看 Apple 和 Microsoft 倒是蠻合的, 和 Google 的半開放政策才真的是格格不入...
